Martijn Dekker

Founder and Managing Partner

Mr. Dekker is co-founder and managing partner at Aurivos. He is a strategic business executive with expertise in the energy industry in leadership positions covering all aspects of upstream oil and gas and developing clean energy strategies and has a strong track record of collaboration, innovation and delivering value for all stakeholders.

Prior to founding Aurivos, Mr. Dekker was Vice-President Strategy & Portfolio at Shell where he led the development of Shell’s hydrogen strategy, development, and implementation of digitalization strategy and refreshing the technology strategy and portfolio. Previously Mr. Dekker held various technical and business roles in Shell’s Upstream business, including Vice President  Americas Exploration, Development Manager for groundbreaking Gulf of Mexico projects.

Mr. Dekker holds a MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Technology Eindhoven, Netherlands and a MS in Business Management from Aberdeen University, United Kingdom.
